Uncaged – Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Winner, winner, chicken dinner! you need this in your life NOW! Really, go get some, I’ll wait right here…

I usually say that my current bottle I’m drinking is my favorite.  But, let me tell you, this truly is a ribbon winner and deserves to be savored.

J Alexander Brown’s Uncaged is a magnificent red! The initial smell is full of berry. Not in a sweet, sugary way, rather a “I have something nice waiting for you” way.

After the sniff, give your glass a swirl and admire the deep color.  You’re in for a wonderful surprise my friend.

The taste is smooth and medium dry. Enjoy your experience for a moment.  Notes of plumb and a nudge of pepper combine making this a very interesting duo.  Initially the flavor is bold, strong and enticing. The profile remarkably holds steady and fades from 100 to 50 to 25…each note staying true to the end.

There is no bitterness, nothing under ripe or off putting about this Cabernet.

This inviting wine will leave you wanting more so be sure to stock up on a few of these gems to fill your collection. With the amazing price point of $15 there is no excuse not to at least try it.

Uncaged is always a good choice to offer to company when they come by or enjoy over a romantic dinner for two.

With the holiday’s coming up, this would make a wonderful Hostess gift or Housewarming gift.  Heck, the bottle fits pretty well in my a stocking as well!
